We offer ready-made and custom made cushions, pillows and scarves, made from hand-printed and hand-painted Japanese silks and wool/silk blends. All of our products are custom designed and crafted individually in our Atelier. We offer an assortment limited and individually designed Japanese silks. Custom made items by special order only.
Our Project
For centuries Japan has enjoyed a rich tradition of silk production and design. Precious silks were used for the most luxurious Kimonos and silk garments, which are still worn by Geishas today. Japanese adorn themselves in silk garments for rituals and celebrations. In order to honor the tradition of Japanese silk production and design, which flourishes even today, we use beautiful Kimono silks to create items which can be used and used by all in a broader context.
The expertise that is invested in the silk production, weaving and dyeing the silk, the individual hand-painting and hand-printed textiles are preserved and enjoyed worldwide. We appreciate their beauty and craftsmanship by preserving them and enjoying them in a new and diverse context - in our most familiar surroundings.
